- Somborn records 1714-1722 give two baptisms of girls named Eva Greis, daughters of Mathias Greis (14 Oct 1720) and Johann Georg Greis (24 Aug 1719). Neither of these appears in Somborn marriages or deaths, 1720-1754, unless one of them is this person. Johann Greis (wife Elisabethe) had daughter Catharina Greis, 24 Jun 1721; she d. 9 Jul 1726. No one named Martin Greis is a father in Somborn baptisms during this time period.
