  	Death record: "quinquagenarius" He was most certainly the son of Claude Lab and Claire Françoise Duhaut of Anteuil. This couple had sons Gerard (1731), Nicolas (1736), and Nicolas Gerard (1740), all baptized in Anteuil. No death or marriage records have yet been obtained for two of the three. While it is not possible to be absolutely sure who is who, only one appears to have married or survived to adulthood, and his age appears to align most closely with the oldest of the three, baptized only as Gerard but known later in life as Nicolas Gerard.
